I have been working in aged care for ten years now and enjoy helping others.  Caring for the older and frail members of our society has helped me build greater empathy and observational skills.  It also motivated me to find an appropriate modality to help individuals heal themselves, to help free people from pain and connect them with their spirit path.

 
In 2007 I was introduced to the idea of holistic kinesiology.  I had no idea what this was but felt drawn to learning more.  I enrolled in a Cert. IV course in Holistic Kinesiology at the College of Complementary Medicine in Hornsby, and later a dual Diploma course in Kinesiology and Mind-Body Medicine.
 
During my training my life has changed (and continues to evolve) in many positive ways.  The most significant change was my health.  Up until starting this course I had been suffering from a chronic autoimmune disease called Systemic Lupus Erythematosus.  I had suffered from this disease for ten years at this point, my first symptoms having started when I was 12 years of age. 
 
I am now in complete remission...and have been for over five years now.  By exploring the connection between my thoughts/emotions and how these impacted on my physical health I was able to work on healing my life.
 
Due to my own experiences and similar stories of friends and colleagues, I am passionate about helping people move past chronic disease and into good health.

What is Hypnosis?

The nature of the mind has led to different conceptions of suggestion to the mind.

The concept of suggestion also depends upon this view of the mind. By contrast, hypnotists who believed that responses to suggestion are primarily mediated by the conscious mind, such as tended to make more use of direct verbal suggestions and instruction  by an "unconscious mind", like [[Milton Erickson]], made more use of indirect suggestions, such as it has been The words hypnosis and hypnotism both derive from the term neuro-hypnotism (nervous sleep).

What is the history of hypnosis?

Hypnotherapy regained popularity in the mid-1900s due to Milton H. Erickson (1901 - 1980), a successful psychiatrist who used hypnosis in his practice. In 1958, the American Medical Association and the American Psychological Association recognized hypnotherapy as a valid medical procedure. Since 1995, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) has recommended hypnotherapy as a treatment for chronic pain.

Other conditions for which hypnotherapy is frequently used include anxiety and addiction. Hypnosis can respond well for illnesses and behaviour problems as well: Anxiety, Phobia, Stress, Anger, Sadness, Shyness, etc.

Hypnosis involves an induction with suggestion and the responses of the clients to the procedure of the hypnotic session can provide the client with  the response to the experience  and  the changes in   behaviour can provide   the outcome for the client.

What is Time Line Therapy?

Time Line Therapy® utilizes the person’s own internal memories of different periods of time in his or her lifetime “Time Line”.

Time Line works with your conscious and unconscious mind that can help in various ways including healing emotional traumas and eliminating unwanted thoughts, emotions and behaviours in minutes rather than days, months or years. Time Line Therapy® means you can be free from your past so that you plan your future according to your own design.

These are the three major techniques that comprise Time Line Therapy™—they are easy to do and make a significant change in a person's life.

By imagining our time line, into our future, our past and even further back than that, we can learn many things which allow us to let go of negative emotions that are holding us back. Time Line therapy can take you back to previous lives. You may find that you remain comfortably within this life time. 

Time Line is different from hypnosis in that it is a process of memories where you will remain comfortable, alert and in control at all times. You don’t “feel” hypnotised or being in a trance.

It’s just a pleasant relaxed feeling exploring pictures that come into your mind. At all times you are in control and is impossible for the therapist to make you do something that you are not comfortable with.
